If You Want to Change It, Champion It
Washington Square Park belongs to all of us—and the strongest parks are built by the people who care for them.
At the Washington Square Park Advisory Council, we believe that if you want to change it, you need to champion it. Every improvement, new program, and positive change starts with someone who chooses to step forward and help make it happen.
The Advisory Council is powered entirely by volunteers, and we are always looking for neighbors who want to share their time, ideas, skills, and passion. Whether you have five minutes, a few hours, a special skill, or simply a desire to help, there is a place for you.

Ways to Get Involved
We're grateful that you are willing to share your time, skills, knowledge, and experiences with us. Please consider getting involved in one of the following ways, or attending an event and identifying another method that you can lead to make our park even better.
