2026 Summer Programs

Join the Washington Square Park Advisory Council for another exciting season of free community programming at Washington Square Park! Throughout the summer, neighbors and visitors are invited to connect, create, learn, and enjoy one of Chicago's most historic public spaces through a diverse lineup of events for all ages. From public art activities like Chalk the Walk and live performances from Porchlight Theatre, Windy City Winds, and Luiz Ewerling & Amada, to wellness programs including Pilates in the Park and Doggie Yoga, there's something for everyone to enjoy. The season also marks the return of the Washington Square Park Community Piano as part of Make Music Chicago, offering daily opportunities for visitors to share music in the park. Whether you're looking to meet neighbors, experience local arts and culture, or simply spend time outdoors, Summer in the Park offers welcoming opportunities to engage with the community all season long.
